Okay, so now that I am less "weeeeeeeee date!" I will fill in the details. So the date was with this guy named Pat who just graduated from Villanova. He is in the process of moving into Princeton. I met him on craigslist - i replied to his add because he was looking for good places to go/things to do in the area and i had to tell him about Halo Pub. (And also his name was Pat - There were 3 Tims and that was bad, maybe Pats are good??) So we'd been talking on line for like a month and having a facebook message battle about pancakes vs. french toast. (I'm in favor of pancakes) So we finally met yesterday and we went to halo pub. He paid for my ice cream, so that was cute. And we walked around Princeton for like 2-3 hours talking, mostly around the campus, because it's really pretty. I got to see his apartment, but he doesn't have any furniture yet, but it's really cute. It's got a bed room, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. It's super small but he's living by himself and how much space does one person need? His bedroom has a little balcony. It's with in walking distance of "downtown" like if you walk down Nassau Street until you basically run out of shops and restaurants, and then turn down a side street, it's right there. He's suprisingly normal. Which is a relief. He has a real job that starts at the end of August at a financial sort of company. The office is in Lawrenceville, but they say it's the Princeton office. He's smart, and likes to read. He likes Psych, and had seen commercials for Burn notice and wanted to watch that (he reads spy type novels often) but hasn't yet. If I'd missed the first two shows i think i would have just given up. he grew up in New Mexico, but moved to PA when he was 15, his parents still live there, and the also own (i think) a beach house in Ocean City. He played rugby in college but injured his knee so he missed most of his last season and just had surgery. So he's still in physical therapy, but i think normally he's a pretty active person. He is getting a bike for his graduation present, so that's cool. When he gets his bike and his doctor says it's okay we are going to go for a bike ride somewhere. He has an older sister that just got married and a younger brother who is 19 and in boot camp for the Marines(?) We got caught in a brief thunder storm, and we ducked under one of the archways to wait and the door to the building was open so we went inside, but it wasn't very interesting since all the doors were locked and it was basically just a bunch of offices anyway. He walked me back to my car and he wanted to go see a movie later or get dinner but it was already like 6.00 and he wanted to clean his apartment so he could move his furniture and so it would have been too late to see a 7.00 movie and a 10.00 is way to late for me now. So we are going on another date next Saturday instead. We ended up standing by my car talking for a while and then we kissed when we said good-bye and eventually ended up just making out in my van for a while. (I still haven't put any of the seats back in from my moving back from college). Unlike pat from school he doesn't smoke or do drugs, so that's a plus. And he's pretty cute, in like a normal person sort of way. He's not like a model or anything but like still attractive. I hope it continues to go well. We'll see i guess.
