Okay, so yesterday:

I managed to slice open my finger with a plastic knife. I was eating a kiwi and some how got a pretty deep cut on my finger. nothing serious, kinda like a bad paper cut, but it will take forever to heal. clean cuts like that always seem to take the longest. but it was a plastic knife!!! what is my problem. (later in the day i was cutting cheese with a real knife and almost cut myself again, but thankfully did not)

A mom at the pool dropped off her two youngest kids at the pool for swim team practice at 6.00 and didn't even walk them inside because she was running late to pick up her other two kids at other sports things. There wasn't any swim team practice. Kelly and I ended up staying for a hour watching these two kids because the mom left her cellphone at home. However the kids didn't even know their mom's phone number, we had to call Kristen who called another mom who had the phone number we needed. We were there until 7.00 so i missed swim practice and didn't go to the gym.

My bathing suit is giving me super visible tan lines, I'm going to have to just wear non red suits some days so that they aren't so bad. (It's a halter top but one of the non-mini triangle kind so there are huge white triangles sticking out of my shirt.)

I still hate taking showers. After I have worked out, showering is really the last thing i want to do. Why cant you just magically be clean? I hate all that standing around and it takes so much time!

I'm thinking about starting to drink watered down Gatorade when i work out to help replace the salt lost in sweat and intake more carbohydrates. If you eat more than about 300 calories before you work out then you'll get cramps and stuff because your body can't digest more than 300 calories an hour, but chances are you burn off way more than that in your work out if you are biking or swimming or running. If you are working out for more than an hour you need to replace carbs too. I don't know, water is easier to obtain and also free. I think energy drinks is something i'll start playing around with at school, maybe after i talk to coach or something so i don't have to come up with something to do all on my own.

My bed is no longer up against a wall it sticks out into the middle of the room. It feels so much smaller and it's scary to go to sleep at night because there are no walls and sometimes it's like i have to stay perfectly in the middle or I'll fall off.
