I stayed up all night last night. At around 7am I walked to Panera and took pictures on the way there for my photo project. My professor wanted me to take photos in the early morning light. So when I got there I bought coffee. As soon as it was handed to me i took a huge sip completely forgetting i was drinking a hot beverage. Now my tongue is burnt. However, I'm actually really excited about my photography project. It's my final and I'll probably end up making a ridiculous amount of prints. They are smaller though. 4.5x6.5 in the middle of an 8x10 sheet of paper. Because they are smaller the burning and dodging is less intense. (The opposite is true of really large prints.) So they might be faster to print. Hopefully. The idea is that I'll have a ton of post card sized images that are just like photos of everyday things no one looks at. The one i did today was of a coffee cup. I'm thinking about writing messages on the back. Some to real people others to people i don't even know. Maybe I'll try and get other people to write them. we'll see how everything goes i guess. tonight i have two wire sculptures to make and i have to write up my final project proposal for sculpture class. I have so much stuff to do, but then it will be over. It's pay day tomorrow! I thought it was next week. So that's cool.

Your projects sound really cool, although why on earth did you stay up all night??? (Yes, this is pot calling kettle...)
I have really been missing you and all my Jersey girls lately. So many of the girls here are so unstable and bitchy, and there aren't enough stable, non-flakey ones to balance them all out. Sigh. These things come in waves - we'll see what happens with all the sun and the beer.
Besides the stress of school, how's life?
Yeah they do sound pretty freaking sweet. I want to do art projects. But yay I'm done with paperrrrs! I only got 2 hours of sleep the other night, I think that's the worst I've ever done, and then only 5 the next night. Ewwww yay for weekends.
I miss you guys too... I always do at this time of the year. It just feels like time to go home.
